This is a beautiful authentic Italian Villa , rustic and charming. Location and tranquility are the reason I chose This villa , second time and becoming a bit of an Italian bolt hole. The restaurant has a new chef , Mirco Citti, some of the best food I have tasted on numerous trips to Italy. For anyone looking an authentic Italian experience with great food and staff this is a must!

Lovely historic villa in the hart of the Tuscany countryside and just minutes away from Lucca. Good value for money, dog friendly and very accommodating stuff. We had also a dinner at the hotel's restaurant which was very tasty and a good option for us after a long day of travelling. The hotel also sell it's own wine and have lovely swimming pool that unfortunately we had no time to make use off. I would highly recommend this place for a short or longer stay.

Breakfast was self service on outside terrace at front of hotel which was a lovely setting (inside if you preferred) and all you could want. Pool was good with lovely views of surrounding hills. Nice old property up a long drive so distanced from road. Dinner was also served outside which was enjoyable. Location accessible to Lucca and Pisa.

Beautiful Villa. Our room was lovely - a good size with en suite, twin beds and a balcony overlooking the gorgeous tree lined approach and superb Tuscan countryside. The pool area at the rear of the Villa was lovely and we had breakfast a few mornings sitting on the patio out front of the Villa. Nothing was too much trouble for Chiara who was so helpful when we were organising taxis and train trips to Lucca, Pisa and Florence.

The location is exceptional. Tranquil beautiful and a very traditional Italian villa, peaceful bliss . The staff were charming very accommodating. I found myself upgraded to a large room with a shared balcony free of charge which was brilliant. You need a car or need to tack into town but the remoteness is rather priceless. Great location for the exploring the region , went to Chianti Florence , Lucca, Siena. It could be upgraded and modernised in places , but the charm and location and wonderfulness of the experience supersedes all that, superb place

Villa Cheli was wonderful! It was the perfect place for us as a family, they had a brilliant family room with a mezzanine, a beautiful pool area in a quiet setting and perfectly located for trips into Lucca and Pisa. The restaurant was also lovely and good value for the heat standard of food.

beautiful, with lovely grounds and helpful staff. if you have a car you can take incredible side trips. don’t miss the wine tasting at Fattoria al Dotto. incredible views, insanely great wine and for 25 euros an amazing 4 course meal with 4 wines (or 6 wines and 6 courses for 30) with an amazingly friendly owner. I have never been to a better wine tasting. and it is just 4 miles from the property.

The pool was our favorite part about the hotel! The rooms were OK, cleaned well, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The daily breakfast was a nice to have and was enjoyable. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute drive to Pisa, and 10 minute drive to Lucca. We were in town for a wedding and this hotel was perfectly located next door to the venue.

Quiet location in the hills close to Lucca and east access to Pisa. Countryside outlook and good amenities including pool. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great buffet breakfast and we enjoyed the evening meals we ate in the hotel which were of a high quality. I was able to get a fantastic massage on site which was organised by the hotel.

This was rated as a three star hotel but was definitely five star to me. My sister and myself have the best time. We rented a car and were able to go to all kinds of different places in Italy from Lucca.
